Your data
Privacy and Research Information
We care about your privacy. Here is exactly what we collect, what we never collect, and why.
Two separate things
Survey answers
In this private prototype the Before and After Surveys run entirely inside your browser. They do not submit research data to anyone. When an approved external Google Forms survey replaces them, anything typed there would go to Google Forms, not to this website, and this website still could not read those answers.
Progress in your browser
Module completion, quiz scores, and the three aggregate survey values are saved in this browser's local storage only. Participant codes and individual survey answers are never stored. Nothing leaves your device.
What we never collect
- Your full name, phone number, or home address
- Your email address — there is no sign-up and no contact form here
- Medical records, diagnoses, or photos of medical documents
- Your anonymous survey code — it is never stored by this website
- Analytics or advertising trackers, and no cookies beyond local progress storage
How research data is used
Survey answers are used in aggregate only, for a school research paper and impact report. Individual responses are never reported. There are no accounts, no database, and no server-side logging created for this project.
Consent
Participants under 18 need parental or guardian consent, and school approval where required. Taking part is voluntary and any question can be skipped.
Reset my local progress
You can remove the progress stored in this browser at any time. This clears only the Brave Body Lab progress key and nothing else in your browser.
